I'm 26, currently a CAD drafter for an Interior Designer, in addition to being an Architecture student on a part time basis. I was an Environmental Science major before I switched to architecture and I love doing anything outdoors. I love to go to new places, especially out west, and hike, because every long hike is rewarded with a fantastic view. I have been skiing since i was 5 (although I wouldn't exactly call doing the snow plow down the magic carpet at the age of 5 "skiing" haha), and i love love love skiing out west. I did crew in high school and would give anything to get back out on the water, there is nothing quite like rowing in the stillness of the morning (and im NOT a morning person). I've taken up kayaking recently and I'm loving it so far (even though the transition from the crew stroke muscle memory to the kayak stroke form was a bit awkward at first haha.) I have been described as extremely loyal and that my humor tends to run on the sarcastic side (but always in good fun of course).
I have a very creative side of me that is usually expressed in some form of art. For years I have made my own jewelry (nothing complicated like metal working, just simple little designs that people seem to really like). I did Photography in high school and I've always regretted letting that fall to the back burner during college. More recently I've taken to drawing again, mostly abstract stuff, but I'm loving how they're turning out so far.
I also have found out over the past year or 2, that I really enjoy cooking and experimenting cooking new foods. Even though i usually end up making a royal mess of kitchen in the process...
