Ambitious, grounded, health-conscious professional, with a love for the outdoors, food, art, history, discussing recent or remote events, and many other interests.
Spent 7 years in the northeast (New Haven and Boston), and returned to SF for residency and postgraduate fellowship. After many years of building a career in medicine, I am at a point where I can devote more time to creative pursuits, travel, and, hopefully, building a family.
Big believer in constant learning and discovery, and very fortunate to have a close and supportive family nearby. It is definitely a privilege to wake up in this city every day, but I love escaping to a treehouse in the Sierras*, last minute road trips to Big Sur or the wine country, or longer travel abroad. Despite many prior visits, I am still mesmerized each time I see Tahoe, Yosemite, and the wild California coast, but also love the energy and culture of a large metropolis, be it SF, NYC, or Paris.
(* was initially going to say tent instead of treehouse, but given my propensity for packing delicious sandwiches, snakes and bears would be less likely to invade a treehouse.)
