Have you ever stood on a sandy beach and watched the surf come in? The tide pulls away "old" pebbles and seashells just as the waves deposit new ones at your feet.
I think our lives are blessed by ever-changing circumstances. We may need to watch some of our beautiful seashells get washed away but, before long, we are given new seashells to enjoy.
Born in New York and raised both in Israel and in Maryland, I feel fortunate to call two countries home. I am a dual citizen, completely bi-lingual, and comfortable in both cultures. I possess a fierce sense of patriotism and loyalty both to the United States and to Israel.
I obtained my BA in psychology cum laude from the University of Maryland in 2010 (Go Terps!). Following my graduation from college, I worked as an elementary school teacher for 4th grade Ivrit and Navi before returning to Israel to follow a life-long dream to serve in the Israeli Army. While in the IDF, I served as a basic training commander on a base in the Northern part of Israel. I completed my military service in April, 2013, and am currently living in Maryland with open plans to return to Israel in the near future.
I am an incredibly passionate, spiritual person. I love to laugh, I love to sing, and I'm a stickler for the correct use of language, written and spoken. I enjoy listening to country music, attending live theatre, and spending time on the beach. I absolutely love excellent fireworks displays. My goal in life is to love and be loved. I have a strong connection with Orthodox Judaism and with Hashem and am looking to share my life with a loving, like-minded man.
