Why hello there, thanks for stopping by. I am a recovering journalist and an under-cooked challah baker extraordinaire. I get inappropriately excited about vintage airplanes and I could watch military documentaries all day long. I am fluent in one and two-half languages, I like to talk to strangers. I also stop dog owners on the street and ask to pet their puppies. I have a soft spot for ugly dogs. I do not have a TV, but I still manage to watch every episode of Colbert. I don't like nuts or coconuts in my dessert.
Back in the day I was a philosophy grad student. I am glad those days are over. If you want to pretend to be interested in my dissertation I will take you up on it :) I feel ridiculously lucky, and blessed to get to do the work I do today, and I am kinda a happy sunshiney-smurf on Mondays...yeah I know, I used to hate those people also.
I am as calm as a fruit stand in New York and maybe as strange (Ryan Adam's fans?)
