About Me
I like cafes, people watching, and ambiance. I'll always have incredible nostalgia for childhood and a time when friends just met up outdoors, with no technological distractions, and felt completely happy and fulfilled by the simplest things. I've always been fascinated by kaleidoscopes, I think they work as a metaphor for almost anything. Being in the moment, fully and completely, is perfection--that's the one thing my yellow color coding personality-o-meter was spot on about. I'll always have a soft spot for the theme to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (by the way that movie rocks some serious socks), and Bon Iver always knows how to strike a chord with me. Check out Skinny Love and For Emma. I recently moved to Astoria from Coney Island, which was far worse than the middle of nowhere; it was the end of nowhere. Although, I got to read 25 books last year thanks to exorbitant train time. But now that I have so much more free time to for fun, adventure, and serendipity I need a partner in crime to share it with :o)
