I'm a laid back guy, very close with family and friends. I exercise/run a few times a week. I'm a news/political junkie (constantly checking up on current events/political news). I have a nearly 13-year-old cat that I rescued from when I lived in Boston, but I'm really a dog person. I like kayaking, photography, watching movies, reading, watching TV, volunteering, and more. I enjoy going to concerts, plays, and comedy shows.
I wrote and published my first book in 2013 and am always working on various "side projects".
Work: I've been in DC since early April. After spending the last 4.5 years with CDC in Atlanta, a great opportunity presented itself and I took it. Now, I'm working in the HHS innovation center focused primarily on acquisition reform for IT services.
Always looking for fun adventures, but rarely have anyone able to go with me.
My two favorite authors are David Baldacci (I saw him speak at the Margaret Mitchell House in late 2007.) & James Halperin. I'm also an avid sports fan Alabama football college basketball some Boston teams (the Red Sox and Celtics) & the Philadelphia Eagles.
