About Me
I love the intense green of the northwest, children's books, art, good design, Italy, people who tell good stories, imagination, language, traveling, photography, music, museums, tango dancing, cooking, being around people who talk science, listening to NPR while cooking, having a friend make me a sandwich (a true act of love), reading "shot in the dark" personal ads, taking long walks. I'm a flutist who aspires to take trombone lessons. I've been known to run up hills, in the dark, and in the rain. I prefer locales where you can talk and hear yourself think. For Passover several years ago I hosted a seder for two friends and prepared a beautiful dinner. The only minor deviation was that our main course was a well-peppered pork roast.
