My friends call me a flaming liberal who loves her work, the outdoors, and trying to make the world a better place. I've travelled all over; lived in Somalia for two years in the Peace Corps, and in Mexico for travel and consulting. I'm a risk-taker and a good friend; I take friendships seriously and work at them. I love off-beat humour, tough art, and most kinds of musicunless it's too loud. I'll try almost anything; I just skiied my first black diamonds, climbed my second (easy) fourteener, and had a book accepted for publication. I currently have two dogs, but I've had and like all kinds of pets except snakes. I also love kids. Birdwatching, gardening, hiking, travel, hanging out and cooking with wine lovers, foodies and good friends are among my faves. I'm looking for someone to be a good friend, lover, companion, and creator of long-term shared memories.
