I've been living in Toronto for about two years now and as much as I love getting out of the city, I also love all that the city has to offer - the attractions of the city and my friends and family here, including two nephews whom I adore.
I enjoy exploring the city's great restaurants, live music, theatre, galleries, museums, parks and trails, patios, and coffee shops. I love getting out to see live music as often as I can. I hate the "what kind of music do you like?" or "who's your favourite band?" questions, so instead I'll offer this: the last 5 live shows I saw were Kevin Devine, Elliott Brood, Hayden, Paper Lions, and Joel Plaskett.
I also, like everyone, enjoy traveling, although I haven't had the opportunity to do nearly enough of it. My most interesting travel experience so far was a month spent in Vietnam - what an incredible and beautiful country. I had an amazing to Nicaragua in December and highly recommended it if you're trying to decide where on the map to hit next! I love the outdoors and try to spend as much time enjoying it as possible, especially in the summer. Camping and cottages, canoeing and hiking, dragon boat season, summer afternoons and evenings spent on patios - some of my favourite things. I coordinate an environmental stewardship program working with involving community volunteers on environmental projects and I find my job extremely rewarding.
I'm easy-going, friendly, and down-to-earth I have a positive outlook and tend to see the best in people. I'm looking for someone to share my interests and explore the city (and beyond) with.
If any of the above interests you, send a message - I hope to hear from you!
