I'm a kind of Kafka and kishke guy. The Daily Show, this American Life, Leonard Cohen, Charles Mingus, Willie Nelson, Fritz Lang, the Italian Alps and the Jewish Alps. Been a lawyer, journalist, film maker, purser, gardener and a prisoner in East Germany. [I'm always amused that people think this isn't true] I believe in love. I like healthy food but rarely decline an invite to Katz' or Sammy's Roumanian. I believe it's not too small a thing for a man to serenade his lady from outside her window...even if it means carrying his concert grand piano. Thankfully, my piano is portable. I sing an awfully mean karaoke. STOP rolling your eyes. I believe the roads of Hillel, Buber and Buddha lead to the same place. I believe beauty is in reality. I've been fortunate to live, travel and work in lots of places in and outside the US. I'm looking for a loving, sharp and creative match who is comfortable with outside the box. I like witty folk and punny people. I'm comfortable in several foreign languages but simply need someone to engage my brain and heart in only one. Honesty is a must - a prerequisite to trust.
