About Me
I think about what is important to me and try to live my life according to those values: friendship, balance, community, speaking up when there is injustice, respecting nature, etc. I'm also someone who likes to make things happen. When I have an idea or a group of people start saying things like, "wouldn't it be great if." - I tend to be the one that makes those ideas into reality. Sure, I can be serious. But I have a silly streak and love to laugh. My sense of humor runs the gamut from very dry to really goofy. In the winter, I look forward to some cross country skiing, playing in the snow, watching foreign and indie films and spending some quality indoor time with close friends - cooking elaborate meals or just hanging out with a bottle of wine or a beer. I love the fresh air even more than I like dancing (which comes in a close second). Not a huge fan of TV, but I do like movies (but not scary ones - I'm the one in the audience that screams). I'd like to meet someone who likes to explore. the world, the Valley, their ideas, our relationship. Someone who is strong (not necessarily physically), able to be tender, communicative and willing to try. (An easy smile is important, too.)
