I am a professional in the medical research field, financially secure and physically fit.I'm a medical scientist, with a specialty in obesity and cardiovascular disease. I''ve had a long career in both medical research and administration (I was a bit of an "enfant terrible"). As a result of my profession, I've lived and worked around the world, including Europe and Latin America. My current work bridges the gap between academia and drug development, since I'm both a university faculty member and president of my own biotech company.
I've always been a bit of a jock (though one with a brain), beginning in college, and even competed on a U.S. National team some years ago. But unlike many former athletes, I stayed in relatively good condition and continue to compete in Masters competition, mainly triathlons.
With my daughters out of school (at least the undergraduate variety), and their careers sharply cutting through the waves of life, I have more time to think of my own happiness/personal life.
I have lots of interests both outdoors and more intellectual. On a good weekend, you can find me running the MKT or road biking. But in the evenings, I'm likely to be at a interesting restaurant, concert, or jazz/blues club. I also have interests in art and antiques.
I'm looking for a woman to share all aspects of my life, physical and intellectual. However, she must also be a nice person. Perhaps a lot to ask for, but I've waited a long time.
I seek a woman who is attractive and emotionally secure, who marches to her own beat. Who, like me, is simply willing to wait for the right person, and is not and has not even considered any thing remotely less. A woman that is truly nice, who appreciates a man, and is looking for the last dance with me. I am open to a long term relationship with my soul mate. If reading this strikes a chord of familiarity with you and you feel compelled to write please do give in to that urge, you never know where that urge may lead.
