About Me
I'm loyal, loving, kind, stubborn, friendly, a natural optimist, romantic at heart, and a bit of a dreamer. I love traveling, learning, solving puzzles, challenging myself, being outdoors. I'm close with my family -- mother's family from Boston, father's from NY -- and with my friends, who are scattered everywhere. I spent two years teaching math at an American International School in Switzerland, and have fallen in love with both the east coast (NYC and DC above all) and European cities. Started a PhD in engineering and water resources, but discovered it wasn't for me. In a dream universe, I would travel the world with a Fulbright, learn more languages, or build myself a specialty area and work for the UN. But when you cut it down, I hope to find a partner and best friend, someone who is able to catch me and tie me down, someone who would like to raise a family. More things I love to do: volunteer work, read, dance, go to museums or theater, play the piano, cooking a good meal together, try new things, and learn about different cultures. What I am looking for: someone who can make me laugh, who is carefree but can be responsible when needed, who sees life as an adventure and wants to share in it together.
