About Me

Introductory paragraphs were one of the few topics that the Books for Dummies people haven't covered yet. Considering the amount of profiles on this site that contain the same cookie cutter responses, I think they are missing out on an opportunity here. That said, I will aspire not to have one of those cookie cutter like introductory paragraphs with the hope that it will interest you enough to want to get to know more about me. Currently I’m working in NYC responsible for the IT operations for a new fashion retailer that is on an accelerated growth track. So in English that means, my days are longer than the standard 9 to 5 but the work is exciting and challenging plus I get a really good employee discount that I can share. While I do live in NJ, working in NYC everyday ensures that I do go out to various favorite spots in NYC after work during the week and on weekends. When I’m not in NYC on weekends, I will go out in the Princeton area or Philly depending on what is going on or who I’m going out with. When I’m not working I enjoy listening to music (Springsteen, Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane and most everything in between), watching movies, playing basketball and golf and reading. I can also be found watching college football and college basketball especially when Syracuse (alumnus twice over who will root hard for my student loans) is playing. Few parting thoughts if you have managed to read down to this point. First yes I am really 6'4'' and I can provide photographic proof if needed if anyone doubts it. I find that most women on this site don’t actually believe that I am actually this tall. Second at this point in our lives I think we can all acknowledge we have our baggage we can bring to the table but at least mine isn’t a matching set of Louis Vuitton so if we can acknowledge that none of us are perfect (no matter what your mother or grandmother will say) then I think we will be off to a great start.
