About Me
I am a sweater and jeans man. Meaning that I probably still still have that 1970's remnant of informality..Tend to prefer quieter venues with fireplaces. Would prefer the coast of Maine to heat of Florida. I like "woodsy" as opposed to "floral". Generally prefer fall-winter to spring-summer. I am a folk, blues, and jazz person, along with a liking of classical music, which I learned about in the Philadelphia school system, when there was the teaching of higher culture. I admit an indifference to popular culture, not a snob, just being honest. Of course an ongoing awareness of outside world of human events. Love fine conversation, especially in quiet, intimate places. Like good, unpretentious food!!!. As i have gotten older I have tried to take myself and life in general less seriously. I grew up as a row house kid from Wynnefield and Overbrook Park who played ball in the streets and didn't worry about scraped elbows. I also follow the four Philly major league teams and spend Sundays in the fall with football (and will smoke a cigar if alone!).
