i moved to portland, oregon 8 years ago because i thought it would be fun to move to a place with no modern orthodox dating pool. ok, the truth is i followed my dream of working for Nike, which is based here. i've lived in a few different states but love it here - everyone is super chill and down to earth. i'm a mt. hood ski patroller, an ice hockey referee, work out 2 x a day and i run jewish events in town for the 20s/30s crowd.I went to university of michigan, where i was an athlete. i like to dance (go to salsa on wednesdays and country line dancing on thursdays-i recently mastered riding a mechanical bull) and party as much as possible. i'm into traditional judaism (shabbos/kashrut/cha gim/z'mirot)...i work in NSW footwear development and travel much of the time for work, both domestically and internationally. anytime i can get out of town for some personal travel, i'm in! i have a drum set, which i attempt to play...and fake playing the piano too. i'm looking for a guy who keeps shabbos or is already on the path towards that, but who knows how to live it up secularly at the same time. it's the best of everything, no? if you're a guy looking for someone low maintenance, sporty, observant, goofy, adventurous, committed to community and family, then be in touch.
