About Me

I am blessed with 2 wonderful kids. I love being a dad...which works out well, as it is the most important thing I do. I am funny and friendly, karing and kind, and I move in the positive. When I was young(er), I looked up to: Jim Rice (can anyone explain to me exactly why he is not in the Hall of Fame?), Larry Bird (sorry Philly - I'm from Boston), Luthor Vandross (RIP), Ralph Ellison (when I grow up, I want to write like him) and Neil Young. Now, I look up to single parents, good parents, and those who have been challenged by life and have risen to meet that challenge. To be clear, I still dig Neil Young. I love working out, and go to the gym several times/week. More generally, I love hard physical activity (though I'm probably more helpful ripping things out of the yard than I am creatively landscaping). I like being outdoors and playing sports, fooling around with a ball, biking, etc.. Walks outside during fall evenings with the kids, smell of football in the air. Did I mention satellite radio...best present I ever got! The quality, variety and quantity of music is staggering...and commercial-free! I prefer to spend time with good friends and family, laughing and enjoying each other during good times, and helping each other during tough times. People find me to be easy-going, emphathetic, funny, intelligent, honest and loyal. I am a giver, a good listener and a good friend. I tend to see both sides of issues and am open-minded. Opinionated, but not judgemental or loud. I am strong, resilient and caring, and I take pride in how I conduct myself. Despite (or maybe because of) some difficult roads travelled, I am even more of an optimistic about life and true love. I know my sweetie is out there.
