About Me

When I'm not playing with my two dogs, I might be playing volleyball, or indoor soccer, or helping plan the next event for my Australian Rules Football team. Otherwise you'll find me working with my Youth Group kids, or relaxing with friends. Lately I haven't travelled nearly as much as I'm used to, having lived in Sydney, Australia for 4 years, and a few other places as well. I love the fall b/c football starts, and a Sunday lounging on the couch with good people watching an NFL or college game is one of my favorite things. Now how am i wired? Well, Respect, Integrity and Honesty are easily the most important things to me about my character. I'm laid back and very open-minded, but if I've got an opinion I'll be the first to share it. I'm a very confident and outgoing man from my lifes experiences, but still love helping others (oldest child - family and friends are a big deal to me). I am definitely a giver & am incredibly trusting. Hmmm...what else? I'm a SCUBA diver, a motorsports enthusiast (don't worry, not NASCAR!!! LOL! Mainly F1, and my own car), terrible golfer, love to cook, entertain and travel, love to hike, 4WD/off road & camp (I'm an Eagle Scout, so grew up in the woods!), I really enjoy fixing and tinkering with things (put my first bike together myself at age 6). I dig working with kids, either my high schoolers in youth group, or my friends kids (I'm the "adopted uncle")...Kids'll always keep you grounded. I'm often in Chicago visiting my Lil Sis and her hubby, and in Indy & Cincy lots too...I've always been very driven in what I do, either play or work. The last thing to do is tell me "I Can't" do something...there's nothing that can't be done with the right mindset, a little patience, and a lot of laughing....There's plenty more to discover about me...but I can't give it all away now can I? ;-D ... Oh, and in case you're wondering....I'm every bit of 6'2".
