Moved to the US in 2011 for my MBA at the university of Michigan. Those were amazing two years, and now I'm in NY, working in consulting.
I like traveling and experiencing new places, meeting new and interesting people and learning on how the world looks through their eyes. I firmly believe that to just visit a place doesn't do the trick. I have to immerse myself in it, to actually live there for a while.
I love being near large bodies of water (lakes, rivers, the sea) so I really liked my time in Michigan, especially the upper peninsula and old mission (awesome wines, btw). It's only fitting that now I live on an island (kinda...)
I think me and the big apple have couple of things in common:
We both like to be busy, have and million things going on simultaneously
We both care about having our own little quiet place in the middle of the mayhem (mine is a bit smaller than central park, though)
And, of course, with both of us you don't want to mess in the morning before we had our first cup of coffee (ice coffee, my own secret recipe)
