About Me
What can I write in a brief paragraph to tell you all about myself? Can you imagine meeting someone in real life (i.e. not online) and asking them to sum up their entire life in a few lines before you agree even to just get to know them? So how do I define what makes me unique so that you want to read further?I am intelligent and sensitive, with a great sense of humor. Not sure if that makes me unique. Music of all kinds has been important in my life, and I have a passion for the arts (performing, visual, film, literary, etc). I've been a performer -- in rock bands, many years ago, and later in clubs. (Now that's unique.) My interests are quite diverse. I have an avid interest in many things, from history to politics, from philosophy to good food and wine, from the sublime to the mundane. I am just as comfortable discussing the existential nature of reality as I am discussing American Idol with my 13 year old daughter (I'm a great father).A educator by profession, I find each new social or business contact, each new relationship, to be a wonderful learning experience. That makes me a great listener, so if you are tired of dates that spend the entire evening telling you about themselves and don't feel it necessary to discover anything about you, then I can be a welcome change.
