About Me
(...that's politically-radical, spiritually-mystical 60!) Joyful, pensive, passionate, spiritual, radical, brilliant, generous, fun-loving, kind, powerful, artistic, self-aware, honest...and VERY unusual. Also, sometimes (but not my usual state) picky, grumpy, touchy, moody, and a number of other of those nasty little traits of humanness that plague us all no matter how hard we try--usually when I'm overtired, overstressed, or overwhelmed. Mostly, a little well-placed gentleness and/or some time to myself does the trick! Oh, yes, and I'm Jewish AND Buddhist (which is almost redundant...and makes for a "kinder and gentler" me!). Travelling delights me (I lived in Belgium for three years, spent several months in Montreal last spring and can't wait to return, have driven cross-country twice, and still have so much I want to see and feel of the world!). I can be happy out seeing/doing things and exploring, both in the city and far away from one--and also home reading, watching a good movie, petting my cats or (fabulous) GermanShepherd, snuggling with someone I really love and trust (talking or quiet), or many combinations of these.
