Optimistic, forward-looking person seeking friendship with option to grow into more.My kids are well into their 20s, out of the house with good jobs.I work part time, write (freelance) part time and help run an extremely dysfunctional ladies' bowling league (using the term "ladies" loosely.)Looking for an intelligent, warm, honest man with a good sense of humour. We called them journals, then.I hate to cook but love to eat.I have no interest in Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, chick flicks, Michael Buble, what anybody wore to anything, or (and especially) Oprah and Doctor Phil.I do have interest in news, current events, politics, business/finance, and watching sports on TV.No, really. You can check my digital channels for proof.I am trying to decide whether I have a bigger crush on Keith Olbermann, David Gergen or Robert Herjavec. Robert wins on looks, Gergen on brains, and Keith on sense of humour.I speak French but not fluently. I blame the education system in the 1950s for that.My kids laugh at my accent.I am not very athletic but enjoy the outdoors at least when it's not -30. Long walks and slower sports such as bowling are my speed.
