About Me
I am a third year student at the University of Virginia, studying foreign affairs with a concentration in the Middle East. I served a year in Iraq, and now that I home I just want to slow down. The year I spent in Iraq showed me how important it is to find someone you can connect with. Going through that without anyone was hard, showing me the importance of having another shoulder and the importance of family.I doubt if I have anything truly unique about me mainly because it wouldn't appear as unique to me. One thing that is different is that when I was 20 years old my eyes changed color, from dark brown, almost black, to hazel. I like them with the green, it's cool.I'm laid back and for the most part just like to hang out at home, cook some dinner, watch a movie. I like reading and writing for fun. I write a lot, mostly random thoughts, an idea I have for a story, stuff like that. I also love motorcycles and plan on getting another one as soon as possible. I had a little accident back in October where I lost control and totalled my bike. I was not, however, riding improperly. There was gravel on the road and the bike just came out from under me.I am not very political in the technical sense, I do not choose sides or constantly vote a specific way. I do become very emotionally involved in things I believe in. Rarely do I take a position that could be seen as moderate, opting instead to constantly occupy one or the other extreme.
