Cheesy pick up lines do work on occasion..what can I say, I'm a sucker for corny? "Swag", as my students put it...not really all that impressive to me. I tend to go for guys who are confident in their ability to be adorkable--since thats exactly what I am.
Give me a microphone (no liquor needed) and I will sing my heart out. Not really afraid of the spotlight, however I don't need to be the center of attention. This is the part where people put all of that generic info down (i.e. family is huge part of my life, want to travel more, Chicago night life is the BEST & I love vegging out in front of the tv, etc). Since those are a given, here are some random facts about me:
-I am related to Leonard Bernstein through marriage (google him!)
-I once waited in line at Joe's on Weed Street to meet The Fridge....for the 2nd time in my life.
-I've partied with the Stanely Cup (Summer 2010).
-Been on 5 of the 7 continents so far (great conversation starter)
-I was named after a Chicago Cubs player (or so my father likes to tell me).
-I performed at two major landmarks in Chicago.
It doesn't take too much to get me laughing, but it does take that little something extra special to make me laugh uncontrollably. I am a firm believer in helping others, which is probably why I became a special education teacher.
I'm looking for someone who is not uncomfortable with busting a move on the dance floor, digs going to baseball games, and who challenges me in ways that are important or profound. Since my family is incredibly important to me, I am looking for someone who so cherishes that. If you are driven, passionate, and know how to make people laugh, then you are exactly what I am looking for in a man.
