A man without a woman, is a bear with furniture.I am a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am college educated. My major is fine art (my medium is photography), my minor is social psychology. I am particularly interested in the analytical psychology of C. G. Jung. I find the concept of the collective unconscious fascinating.Liberal that I am, I understand that an independent, worldly woman may not care to have doors opened for her, though honestly, I really do like to open doors for a woman. I think there is room for a touch of chivalry. Still, I can learn not to (open doors that is, I will still like to open doors). As the “man’s prayer” states, “I am a man, but I can change, if I have to...I guess.”I love spirited conversations about politics, the arts, science, the human condition... Smart is sexy. The Crawford Village Idiot liked to warn us of the “Axis of Evil,” but the real axis of evil is Dubya, Cheney, and Rove. Too late to impeach, not too late to indict. But, don’t get me started. (Too late?)I fully embrace my inner child (Harold and the Purple Crayon is still one of my favorite books), as well as my inner geek (I am a whiz with a digital Nikon, a Macintosh, and Photoshop). I would rather watch Antiques Road Show than a Vikings Game. I would rather spend an afternoon at a museum or an art gallery than in a bar (I would rather do most anything than spend an evening in a bar). I have never used alcohol, tobacco, or illicit drugs. No, I am not a puritan, I simply never saw the attraction in poisons and intoxicants. Life is much more interesting when you are aware and in touch. I own my own home, I am financially independent, and I am looking for a way out of beardom.
