About Me
I'm a New Yorker turned (quasi) Californian. I studied Anthropology with a concentration in Archaeology which didn't come too handy when I did legal recruiting and event coordinating but now that I'm teaching early childhood it certainly has (dinosaur expert!). Living a healthy and active life is important to me, although I find it hard to resist red wine, lava cake and bread soaked in olive oil. I went through a grunge phase in high school (Nirvana t-shirts and a skateboard) and despite the affinity I have for pretty dresses now, you can't completely take the grunge out of the girl. The Met and the ocean are two of my happy places. The more I explore the West Coast, the more fortunate I feel to be living in such a beautiful place!
