I was born and raised in Brooklyn, where I spent my first 18 years, sitting on stoops, drinking iced coffees and shuffling towards adulthood. Then off to college where I did much of the same, having replaced stoops with more respectable venues such as libraries and bars. College ended and at last I gave into a deep dark desire of mine: I did not want to be a poet or an artist but, much to the surprise of my family, I wanted to be a doctor! I have spent the last several (seemingly eternal) years in this pursuit- moving up and down the east coast, and finally landing in Boston.
