A little bit about me . . . Originally from NYC and the Catskill Mountains, I made my way to the Ozarks to finish my education and to live a better life. I accomplished both and have been pronounced the "transplant from up North!" I am someone who never asks a person to do something I cannot or have not done before.... and I tend to get involved in issues that have deep meaning to me i.e: the recently disabled troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. My leaning is toward people of the same sentiments.
I am passionate about these young people who have put their lives on the line and are now suffering from PTSD or MTBI. To that end..I am volunteering with an organization that is doing something for them. I love singing, having friends over for coffee/ wine/ playing instruments or just having belly laughs and enjoying their company.
I don't believe there is just "one special person" for someone... Each of us has many wonderful and unique characteristics to offer another. Thankfully I am able, at this time in my life, to look past the outside and see who the person really is. I believe the most important quality I seek in another is his strength to be gentle; his ability to have concern and care for others and, his love for animals. Now that I have told you a little bit about me, I look forward to hearing a little bit about you.
