What makes me happy? A warm cup of good coffee, staying in bed with a book on a rainy day, being with animals, the smell of the woods, hanging out with my family, the sound of the waves crashing at the beach, cooking with fresh foods, a big hug from a friend, looking up at the stars on a clear evening, working in a garden... Who am I? I am a postdoctoral resident in child psychology specializing in children and teens with developmental disabilities at a children's hospital. I am also a loyal friend, an older sister, a feminist, an idealist, a prolific reader, a klutz who still likes playing sports, a proud "bleeding heart liberal," an avid NY Yankees, NY Giants, and UConn Huskies fan, a daydreamer... What don't I like? Intolerance, loud people, bugs, spicy food, getting up early in the morning, reality TV...
