A life-long spiritual seeker who finally came to realize that Hassidic-style mysticism was as good as any, I enjoy serious conversations, klezmer, classical or vintage music, my kids, my research, old movies, old houses, museums, and day-tripping to reenacting events. And a good game of Scrabble. My passion is living history, understanding the past by experiencing it. My especial interest is the 18th century, but any "time travel" is an unbeatable, ineffable experience. I offer my wit, compassion, intellect, tenacity, and hard-won wisdom.
