I'm a good guy, honest and easy-going. I like to make a difference in the world and have a good time doing it. Turning 50 has made an impact on me and I'm intent on making the most of every day.My favorite times are hanging out with friends and family, laughing and enjoying life. It's important to me to stay in shape and eat healthfully but I'm not above eating fast food when the spirit hits me! I'm a big sports fan and haven't given up hope of joining the pro tennis tour...not! I work out regularly, play golf, and play tennis twice a week. I like to ride my bike and get up into the mountains hiking. Although I can be serious, I don't take myself too seriously and I prefer to be around people who know how to laugh and enjoy life. I love a good discussion on politics or world events. I love to travel to mountainous and ocean areas as well as explore other cultures and environments. I like to travel and have been to Ghana for a Habitat For Humanity build and Tuscany for a bike tour in the past few years. I like to write and recently published a book of poetry. Sorry, not the mushy romantic kind, the funny ironic kind. Lately, I've gotten back into playing guitar. No one would mistake me for George Harrison, but I do enjoy it. I also like the basic stuff like hanging out around the house, working in the yard, watching TV and seeing movies. I volunteer when possible and am currently on the board of a local not for profit counseling center. I'm not too ritually religious, but I have a strong relationship with the Big Guy and put a high premium on morals and ethics. I have no patience for game playing and am looking for someone I can trust who isn't afraid to speak the truth in good times and bad. I'm hoping to meet someone special to share my life with. I have a lot to offer the right woman.
