I have an art background (painting and printmaking) and now own my own business as a holistic pastry chef. I love going to museums and galleries, biking, rollerblading, doing yoga, hiking, going to concerts from classical to underground rock. I am into being a conservationist and my business has an environmental bent. Open to all faiths, I grew up in an intellectual, artistic environment with Communist Jew grandparents, a Jewish/native Manhattanite mother and spiritual biologist father. I think that being raised without religion actually was a catalyst for me to seek it out on my own...which is what first lead me to yoga (I teach part time and love it). I believe that all religions are different languages for the same thing; that is actually one of my primary tenets but I am also open to being part of a more structured spiritual community/practice.
