About Me

*I'm also in NYC all the time, usually a couple times a month. I'm Jarrett. I LOVE: good water pressure, NY Times' web site font, outdoor cafes, the previews, truffle oil, solving really hard problems, flipping pillow while sleeping to feel the cold side, right on red, left on red from a one way to a one way, refilling the ice trays when they're empty, passion about anything, Central Park, awkward moments, social justice, extreme strategies, "urban exploration", timeliness, travel, TED talks, over analyzing, flying a small airplane, working under pressure, thrill-seeking, passports, overusing parenthetical asides, Israel, idealism, aisle seats, Bar10, white/milk chocolate covered pretzels, sarcasm, cat's feet, occasional revolutions, ampersand (&) symbol, serial (Oxford) comma, lox, "did-you-know…", Serval (illegal in MA), being a connector, innovative ideas, self check-in kiosks, honor, strategic procrastination, sitting by the edge of airport runways and feeling the energy, risk, my family, fresh bed sheets, avocado, making a measurable difference, shopping centers with every store I need, really secure things, trying new restaurants, sushi, true understanding of another's culture, reality, arguing an idea to perfection, live jazz, au poivre, seared or torched food, road trips, intelligence, trust, martini soaked big green olives, security, yellow Peeps, thinking globally, social networks, Manhattan, covert operations, Cirque du Soleil, snooze button, floor to ceiling windows, asking for forgiveness instead of permission, Snapple Real Facts & Diet Peach, brainstorming, well designed things, fixating on the truth. I DISLIKE: liars, sitting still, thinking different obscure and/or interesting things are automatically worthy, unsafe little cars, carbonation & S. Pellegrino, toilets without a flush button, insufficient tipping for good service, expectations (they hold you back), being late, MA drivers, centipedes, anchovies, bugs, coffee, pettiness, stupidly targeted advertising, a view of life that doesn't extend beyond the border of one’s own country, watching TV, answering a question with a question, clowns, dark chocolate - I’ll still eat it. Basically, I love life, there's never a dull moment!
