I moved to NYC about six months ago for work. Being in sales and strategy, I am constantly out exploring different parts of the city, which has helped make me feel like a real New Yorker. Perhaps because I still have the southern girl in me (ok, I was born and raised in Maryland, which isn’t exactly the South, but it is south of the Mason-Dixon line), I never hesitate to talk to people. I’ve met people who have turned into some really good friends in line at Elixir on my walk to work in the morning, in line at airport security, and in line at a Rangers game (apparently, I wait in a lot of lines!). Another awesome thing about living here is that I get to see my sister who lives uptown from me and my great childhood and college friends who are scattered over the city.
I’m always up for a weekend getaway and I make sure to plan a more exotic trip every year (don’t forget to ask me about the time I was almost attacked by an angry sea lion on the Galapagos Islands).
I am animated and fully of energy. I love a good challenge and always find a solution. I am a pro at juggling and tend to make the best of any situation. I love to laugh.
