I find these essays difficult. I am suppose to charm you with my extraordinary qualities, that any man reading my profile would want to leap at the chance of meeting me. Well, my cats think I possess such qualities -- my 21 year-old daughter -- well we won't go there. And for any man reading this -- well there is only one way to find out.I have been told by many of my friends (where have I read that line before, but for me it is true -- must have a sense of humour to be doing this) that I am very youthful for my age -- not only in body, but in spirit. I believe that what keeps us young is not only how we take care of ourselves, but also our outlook on life. I try to look for the positives, even in a negative situation (I don't always succeed).
I have been widowed for over 4 years, so here I am (as many of us on Jdate) thrust out into the world of singlehood again. I would like to fall in love again (and believe all things are possible) and have as good, (if not better), a life as the one I left behind.
I am not the outdoor, adventuresome type -- mountain climbing and water rafting is not my thing. I love travelling, Manhattan (can't get enough of it), fine dining, theatre, culture, dancing. (I have been studying latin dancing for 10 years and compete occasionally on an amateur level). I am an avid exerciser -- pilates, weight training, yoga, aerobics and believe in healthy eating (although I do indulge from time to time). I have wonderful friends, and appreciate the importance of genuine friendship. I love my family, and my extended family (I have a stepdaughter and stepson, each have a baby -- which makes me a stepgrandmother).Btw , pictures/age accurate.
