Lighting chanukah candles in Israel, breathing in the Jerusalem air, surrounded by meaning and passion - these are for me gifts of being Jewish. That you would want to privately sing together on shabbat will make me melt . . .hosting meals for friends and family, enjoying camaraderie as well as dveikut while dining on shabbat, is heaven on earth.
I try to be thoughtful (re: people as well as in the meandering musings of the brain). Can be charming, can be witty. Will speak obliquely to protect/leave space, but can also cut to the chase.
