I'm passionate about just a handful of things in my life, including my two great kids, my job as a high school English teacher, and the Sunday crossword puzzle in the New York Times. All of these benefit from my enthusiasm and sense of play, and though I'm more than happy to share both my kids and my job with others, I must honestly confess that I won't part with the crossword puzzle nearly as willingly. I'm an avid reader, although these days my reading list consists mostly of ninth-graders' essays on Romeo and Juliet and my kid's latest favorite, Duck for President. I'm excited to meet someone who has an active, full life but is still looking to add another dimension to it. And just maybe, someone who inspires me to want to share my Sunday crossword.
