About Me

"Do you wanna build a Sukkah? For this Jewish holiday? We can hang up your old apple core, Put up the door, Come on, what do you say? I hope we don't get rained out. But if we do, I hope that you would not cry. Do you wanna build a Sukkah? Yes, it has to be a Sukkah. Oy va-vai! Do you wanna build a Sukkah? I promise I won't let you fall. I think that doing this is overdue, I promise I'll let you Put pictures on the wall. Remember, make it pretty. It's up to you. Please don't let the hours tick by... Do you wanna build a Sukkah? Come on let's go outside. Sukkot comes only once a year, It's time to cheer! No need to hide... I'll let you shake the Lulav, And Etrog too. But both can't be done inside. Do you wanna build a Sukkah?" This is what I do...I write Jewish holiday versions of our favorite Disney songs for the kids in my congregation. What else should the cantor be doing??? :-) I am just looking for love which seems to be very difficult in South Florida due to the dating scene down here. I will put this up front...I am not a skinny or fit guy. I also work full time as a cantor and that comes with a lot of religious and social expectations that I must follow in order to be successful in my career. I am a traditional kind of guy with old fashioned values (except when it comes to certain activities...inquire within) and I am looking for a girl who enjoys that quality. Jewishly, I am on the more traditional side. I keep fully kosher inside the house and I eat diary and vegetarian outside of the house. I also go to synagogue every week both for enjoyment and for my career. I am looking for someone who either 1) has similar Jewish values and practices or 2) is willing to learn and grow with me so that we could engage Jewishly together. It is not as hard as it seems. So now that you have read this, I must ask you...Do you wanna build a Sukkah?
