Do you want a real Renaissance man? I have more interests and skills than most people ever think of. I've had several people say to me, "Is there anything you can't do?" Of course there is a LOT I don't know how to do or even care to (but there's also a lot I want to learn...). I can't stand team sports and am probably the only Canadian you'll ever meet who can't tell you even one member of his city's hockey team. So you'll never have to worry about me vegging out over sports! Instead, I'll be the guy who wants to get out of the house and do something fun! And when the weather's too cold, or we're too tired (or not in the mood), then there are a lot of things we could do indoors: cooking a special, fun meal; playing some games; making something or painting a picture (who cares how good it is - it's fun!); amongst many other things!Yes, I'm ambitious, and I know this is sometimes a problem for other people, since it really does mean that I work a fair bit. I also have a couple of hobbies that I'm really passionate about. One of those is my martial arts (I teach Medieaval & Renaissance swordsmanship and self defense). I was an artist for a number of years, but circumstances drove me to another career - I'm not hugely passionate about that, but it pays the bills, and I'm good at it. I expect to change my career again within the next year or two, as I'm curently pursuing something that is moving me towards my own full-time business...I am a single parent, since January of 2008. I have equal/shared custody of my kids, so they are a big part of my life (and the biggest reason why I stay in Edmonton). Not sure if I want more kids or not - we can talk about that once we're close enough (hey, I gotta be honest). I'm not looking for a fling, but am seeking the real thing! I take good care of my health, and expect the same of my partner.
