About Me

I am a warm, honest, loyal, creative, a story teller (create my own), and when comfortable with a person can have a wacky sense of humor (love to break out in improv). As a teacher, I enjoy creating interactive and "Thinking Out of the Box" lesson plans. Puppet theater is popular with my students and has become a powerful teaching method in my classes. I love cooking (especially sushi), taking long walks, and discussions involving social issues, the field of health care, holistic medicine, poetry, art and music. Spiritual discussions involving the meaning and purpose of life are deeply satisfying, important to me and always spark my interest. I also love learning and listening to most scientific discussions especially related to physics and quantum physics. I am genetically predisposed to loving science fiction (my Dad's fault). I would rather interact with friends and actually move my body rather than sit down and read. However, I do enjoy quiet time alone to relax and recharge (this is essential). As a Yoga Instructor as well as a student, I am currently studying and focusing on meditation and have recently taught a class. We all need time to slow down and heal.I love writing poetry and story telling. My poetry is often introspective and universal and my stories always have a transforming and moral frame work. With an appreciation for all cultures and religions, I feel that part of my purpose in this world is to heal a devastating human condition and disease called Bigotry. I love Israel, (especially Safed) and feel very at home there. I am dedicated to my loved ones and building relationships far more than the potential for any material gain. A car or boat is replaceable, a soul or Neshema isn’t. More later............... ....
