I moved to Cambridge from New York City for college. That was eight years ago -- I think I forgot to leave. These days, I'm working as a software engineer (still in Cambridge).
I can't go long without some sort of creative expression or intellectual stimulation. I love art and photography (both creating and admiring), listening to music from classic rock and film scores to jazz, learning and using foreign languages, pretending I can do improv, and exploring cities, museums, and parks. I have, at one point or another, gone dancing swing, tango, waltz, and salsa, though swing is the only one of those that I know well enough to not require the “free beginners’ lesson at 7:30!”.
I've come to love the Boston summers (humidity notwithstanding), and can be found hiking in random places, meandering around Harvard Square, going to Shakespeare on the Common, or kayaking on the Charles. The winters I'm still working on.
