If you have a Sense of Adventure, can stand on a ladder to reach NEW Heights, if your Baggage doesn't go over the limit, if you have the gift of gab, if you love romance and reaching beyond the Mundane, and relish delving into new EXPERIENCES with the excitement and feeling that Love brings, Welcome!
No Pollyanna am I, as my family and I have had our share of adversity. THIS IS THE REASON THAT I TOOK THE ROAD NOT TAKEN. I am checking shoe sizes, and in so doing, I am also reflecting on the many facets “that a special New Relationship brings. To My Family, my life will continue to be SHARING with xoxoxo! "To Them and ALL the People in my Life a "DoubleChai,” I will expand my possibilities.
Oscar Wilde wrote “I adore simple pleasures. As human beings we seek to be happy. We look to meet others who will “make” us happy and we work very hard to achieve what we think will bring us happiness. But we seem to be on a lifelong quest to find something that is elusive. We say, I would be happy if…”In the meantime, we overlook all the little opportunities for happiness that come to us each day."
Among my Simplest Pleasures are my 4 Grandchildren in Maryland and Michigan.
And "Once Upon A Time" nearly 30 years ago as we did to their parents, I watch from afar as my children and their spouses are taking their children on the same magical Journey reading many of the same books: "Good Night Moon," Dr. Seuss’s “Oh, the Places you’ll go!”
The generations might be different, but not the sparkling eyes of wonderment and exploration you see their eyes.. So, when visiting myself, it is Déjà vu as I am reading these same timeless books, and Time stands still.
Last summer, my Family of 9: my daughter and son’s families, and my Boston family of 8 were together for a week in Sea Pines, SC. It reaffirms once again what "Simple Pleasures" families are and will continue to be! This Spring and Summer it’s been celebrating birthdays in Michigan and Maryland, and then the Jewish holidays like Passover and Rosh Hashanah in Michigan.
Finally, friends and I go to the theater, concerts and movies. Or maybe it is just celebrating the Jewish Holidays, or Friday night services. But my calendar, both present and future, is usually filled with many simple pleasures, and thus giving me many new experiences that I have always strived on.
With all of this said, is there someone who believes as I do in connecting 2 Souls for the Next Journey, hand in hand, as the threads of both of our lives weave together creating OUR VERY OWN TAPESTRY?
