About Me

You know, I’m not too sure how compatible I am gonna be with this internet dating stuff . . . . I’m usually the guy you see standing just a bit off by himself, looking around & taking it all in; still very much a part of the crowd & very social, yet somewhat separated from the mainstream . . . and when I see that someone special, my eye contact & smile speak loudest; kinda the strong, silent type . . . . now you might understand why I’m not too sure I’ll fit in here . . . . . . . yet, I’ll forge on & see where this takes me . . . I was born & raised in Maine & lived here all my life, except for 8 years I spent in New York. I have traveled extensively across the country (and a bit outside the US) and still travel quite a bit for work. I love Football (playing & watching), motorcycles, aviation ( licensed private pilot), trucks, boating, power yoga/working out, skiing, coaching and hanging out with my kids, family & friends; I like to be around positive, energetic people . . . I'd like to think I'm willing to try just about anything once & like to be taken out of my comfort zone every now & again. I enjoy most sports, going out & socializing, theatre, music, etc. I also enjoy quiet nights home with someone special. I believe honesty & trust are the foundation of any relationship . . . without those, there is nothing to build on. I also believe in accepting people for who they are, not who you think they'll be or who you want them to be . . Most people think I'm in my 30's . . . . I know, everyone says that, but in my case it's true; I just happen to look a lot younger . . . I have a tendency to act a lot younger at times as well; sometimes, that's a good thing, sometimes, not so much. I think I have my collective "you know what" together . . . . . but that's something you'll need to decide for yourself; If this sounds at all intriguing, let me know . . .
