About Me
I'm a librarian and I love what I do: I'm the Patients' Librarian at Mendota Mental Health Institute. Never a dull moment...! When not at work, I am often a homebody, watching TV, doing crafts, wasting time on the computer. I really enjoy traveling, reading, music (I sing in my Temple choir), concerts, the occasional movie, walks, and hanging out with friends. My main hobby is the SCA, a medieval/renaissance re-creation organization, where I enjoy things like dancing, choral and vocal music, painting, historical research/teaching, textile arts like costuming, embroidery, etc., and oh yes, the feasting and the flirting and sometimes the uplifting bodices...
