I recently moved to Brooklyn, NY to teach Mathematics at Touro College. It would be nice to meet someone like me educated, professional, but also nice and understanding and create a family.
My family immigrated to US from former USSR in 1994, so I guess, I am bi-cultural and bi-lingual. I am US citizen since 2000, in case you wonder :)...
I love books and movies, but also exercise regularly.
I think, Mark Twain once said that NY is a big city, but you feel lonely in it. Perhaps more than that, for some time already I want to meet my beshert and start a family not just date...
From Religion point of view, I came to Judaism only later in life. I have not been to Yeshiva and don’t want to go. I am open to learning more and perhaps doing more… I go to local Chabad, but I am NOT a Chasid, it is just Chabad is nice to Russian immigrants and it feels like home even if I don’t agree with everything. I keep Shabat and holidays. I would never eat pork and mix meat and milk, but I am not 100% kosher either.
