About Me

I am fortunate to be retired. So, now I have the luxury of waking each morning to whatever possibilities the day may bring. But it would be nice to share those possibilities with a special person. I come from a very close family, and have many close friends of 30 - 40 years. So, loyal and lasting relationships are very important to me. I keep busy now with volunteer work, serving on the board of a non-profit, indulging my interests in music and cooking, and staying in shape. I get out to hear live music regularly, and I always have a book going. My goal is to travel extensively, but that is something best shared. In my former life, I was a therapist and worked in an interesting and challenging environment. Here are a few things you ought to know about me, before deciding if you are interested. My politics are liberal. I am a devout agnostic (there's two words one generally doesn't see together!), of Jewish ancestry. I have never married, but I have had very meaningful long term relationships. I have no children. This does not mean that you must be just like me (how boring that would be). I am very respectful of other points of view, so long as the respect is mutual. You should, however, have a good sense of humor, an honest, but compassionate way of dealing with others, be well educated (good educations come in many forms), and have a desire to serve the community. An interest in the arts, cooking, and travel would make it fun for us. Your height, race, ethic background, economic status, etc. are not important. The type of person you are is very important. Thanks for taking the time to read this. If you are interested, let me know! Let's explore the possibilities.
