I just returned from an outstanding trip to Arizona. Turned 50, and decided to do something grand. So my girlfriend and I, and our sons took to the road in Arizona - Grand Canyon, Arcosanti (experimental urban community in the desert - ask!), Sedona, the Apache Trail, the night sky, sunrises and sets, wide open spaces, cartoonish cacti, and more. All good! I've been replenished!
Meanwhile, back at the ranch... When I am with thoughtful, aware, funny people I am happiest. I'm open to and looking for someone great to share life with, in all its wonder and the regular parts too. I am a loyal, devoted friend and partner - kind, open and smart. That's what I'd want from you too. My 13 year old son is my joy, and we really enjoy each other. He's a bright, curious, happy, well-adjusted very good kid and I love being a parent. We have both found community at a great Shul, which brings terrific klezmer music and yiddish into our lives. But even so, and with good friends and meaningful work, something is missing: passion in my personal life. Passion lights up the rest, beautifully, and I miss it!
