Fresh off a pretty amazing safari in Botswana and South Africa, I'm looking for my next adventure, and I'd ideally share it with a partner in crime. I'm a passionate person, whether that refers to my interests of going to Springsteen show after Springsteen show. traveling to some environmentally spectacular locale, reading New Yorker magazines, easing into a Sunday morning with a great brunch, or engaging in political discussions / debates.
I have a healthy goofy streak -- and appreciate a good sense of humor, laced with some sarcasm and witty banter. I also have an occasional burst of creativity -- as evidenced by my former Ode to Springsteen annual holiday fiesta where folks were encouraged to come dressed as their favorite song lyric or anything Jersey-related. (I can explain what a "teenage diplomat" or a "between what's flesh and what's fantasy" costumes look like.) If properly inspired, I have been known to toss of a haiku now and then. Admittedly, they are usually focused on somewhat absurd themes but hey, I'm trying.
I also bleed NY Giants blue love Shakespeare, photography, and wine tasting play tennis, and love the outdoors -- particularly the national parks, hiking, rain forests, and seeing animals in the wild. I've been fortunate -- have travelled fairly extensively internationally , and have lived in both England and Japan. I played in a drumming group in Japan, swam with dolphins off the coast of New Zealand, boated down the Peruvian Amazon, and snorkeled off the coast of Honduras.. But these experiences -- both foreign and domestic -- would be enhanced immeasurably with a partner who I was crazy about.
