About Me
I'm originally from Rhode Island, went to college in St. Louis, and have been loving life in Boston for the past three years. My friends say I'm laid back, artsy, and the life of the party, and it must be true, because they know me best. I'm a people person, and have surrounded myself with an amazing group of friends. I work with kids who have mental health disorders, and while some people may consider it to be stressful, I love it because I spend my days cracking up at the ridiculous things they say and do. I tend to laugh when things go wrong, which makes my days a lot more fun. You'll usually find me catching a movie at the indie theater down the street, working on grad school applications at a coffee shop, dancing to 80's throwbacks, or playing a board game and drinking some wine with friends. I like the outdoors, and when the weather's nice and the company's right, I love to go on a hike. Recently, I participated in a 25 mile bike race after having not gotten on a bike in 11 years. It went pretty well, so I'm considering taking up biking in the spring.Sometimes I like to sing, but my friends tell me I'm tone deaf. I studied film in school, and although it's more of a hobby now, I still like to keep up on movies new and old. I prefer not to call myself a film snob, but rather a connoisseur. I also have to admit, I've been addicted to my own share of TV shows. I'm a huge fan of potluck dinners, and Sudoku drives me crazy.
