Some basics: Confident in my work, open in my life, better looking in person than in photograph. Fit: physically, mentally, emotionally (lot of hard work here.)Character: Some seeming contradictions: Smart, sophisticated, but also silly. Conceptual, but also highly intuitive. Analytic, but also artistic (I’ve written research reports and plays). Affectionate and giving. Inquisitive and adventurous. A hard won maturity, but still full of boyish enthusiasms.Work: Consultant who has worked with senior leaders at the highest level on a global basis (from Tokyo to Turkey).Play: Culture, high and low. I love Shakespeare almost as much as I love the Boston Red Sox. I’m addicted to bookstores, and the beach (or at least the ocean, which is why I love Oregon.) I travel a lot, but pack books before clothes. Adventure and activity. Love exploring new places and also returning to old places I love. Am as deeply moved by great art as by greatness in nature (e.g., the redwoods.) You: no formula, but intelligence, fitness, sensuality. An open heart. Openness to culture and/or cultural sophistication. Ability and enjoyment in sustaining a conversation. A spirit of adventure – willingness to travel and explore a plus. And being charmed by verbal dexterity, quick wit, and bad puns, (alas,) probably a necessity.Us: Conversation, communication, chemistry, connection.
